Sree Krishna Tile Works (SKTW), Chengamanad, a 47 years old tile manufacturing unit is in the process of crystallising it's development strategies. As a part of it, SKTW approached M/s. Industries Research & Services (IRS), an Engineering & Management Consultancy Organisation based at Cochin to analyse it's present operations and to develop strategies for expansion/diversification.

This report is prepared by IRS based on their direct data collection, analysis of the documents made available to them and the discussions with the Managing Partner of SKTW Sh: Ramacliandran Pillai and other employees of the organisation. It generally cover's an analysis of the existing production facilities, operation of the unit in terms of Production, Quality Control, Finance, Marketing and Personnel. It also suggest some strategies for the expansion/diversification of the unit.

	A ceramic expert with 40 years in the filed of ceramics production experience. Research and developement is available in this factory on continuous basis.
	Sufficient books and technical data is available in the form of books and papers. Closer to ernakulam.
	At Triventrum regional risearch lab metirial research on heavy clay rowmaterial papers are also available in case for any problems.
	Lab with pilot plant is alrady set for new development of design and colors and product testing.
	Safety approach is taken into considaration.

	The product is ecofriendly using waste matirial like broken tailes fired waist plaster moulds powtered surface sand river sand at proportion mixed up and appropriate process adopted .
